Lundy Island Field Notes – Anne Beer

Anne Beer has a talent for writing, drawing, and painting which is perhaps partly natural but also honed from some eight decades of daily practice (See My Life on a Cliff Edge 2020 Blue Poppy Publishing).
This book is an unedited* copy of her field notes from several visits to Lundy in 1999 and 2000 as a volunteer.
All the drawings, paintings, and written notes were done in situ and have not been edited beyond a certain amount of adjustment of contrast and tone, as well as tidying up minor blemishes and edge fading.
The text is scanned directly from the original book. As such it may not be as easily readable as one might like, however we felt that it needed to be kept exactly as Anne wrote it in her own hand and with the occasional crossing out and blemish adding to the authenticity of the finished work. At least you can be pretty certain no generative AI was used anywhere in the production.
