Katie is a writer, poet, and artist who now lives in Ilfracombe.
Before she moved to Devon she was a resident of Canvey Island and was for many years a regular contributor to Wake up to Wogan on BBC Radio 2. She, among a number of others would send in odes, about the day’s events and stories, that would be read out on air. She even gets a mention in Wikipedia, albeit briefly.
Katie’s collection of short humourous poems with a twist in the tail is called Surprise Surprise – Tales With a Twist in Verse and is only available to buy as a paperback from UK bookshops, direct from the suthor, or from Blue Poppy.
